The vision was 20/50 which is better than I expected. And the patient was not very symptomatic.
Dr Lederer:
The OCT demonstrates a case vitreomacular traction (VMT) with intraretinal fluid due to the traction. There is likely a small epiretinal membrane nasal to the fovea to account for all the undulations (but you cannot always see it even though you know it must be there). Some patients with significant anatomic disruption of the neurosensory still see quite well.
