High Myopia with Choroidal Neovascularization (CNV)

42-year-old woman with choroidal neovascularization secondary to myopia. The presence of subretinal hyperreflective material is important and is seen more commonly in early-onset myopic CNV lesions (as opposed to subretinal fluid). This is contrasted to Wet Age-Related Macular Degeneration in which the subretinal fluid is most often concomitant to the presence of subretinal hyperreflective material.
