This color fundus photograph demonstrates proliferative diabetic retinopathy with clinically significant macular edema. Based on the current literature Dr Marashi elected to treat the patient with anti-VEGF intravitreal injections. In this instance, he chose to delay PRP (panretinal photocoagulation) until the DME improved. Thanks for sharing Dr Marashi. And stay safe.
