This OCT image is typical of cystoid macular edema after a retinal vein occlusion. The inner retinal opacification is due to a relative arterial stasis in the vascular system secondary to the venous obstruction. Meanwhile, the cystic edema is due to fluid extravasation from the disrupted vascular physiology. Can you find the features?
